Louie is the Co-Founder of the Living In Place Institute and passionate about helping people make their homes safe - healthy - comfortable. His early career included 22 years in advanced research and development for medical and analytical devices. Recognized by the prestigious International R&D 100 Award for Advanced Technologies Louie has been awarded many related patents and holds numerous credentials (MBA, BSME, CLIPP™, LIPA™, HATS™, CAPS, ACPC). In 2004, Louie founded US Safety Pros, providing services in over 3,000 homes from childproofing, radon testing and mitigation, through home accessibility and home safety and was published in USA Today. A devoted husband and father, Louie lives just outside Boulder, Colorado with his wife and their two whippet racing dogs!

Erik is committed to helping all people live in homes that are safe - healthy - comfortable. His $100M+ career in residential and commercial building spans over 50 years. Recognized as one of the Top 50 Influencers in the kitchen and bath industry, he has received (and taught) nine national credentials, plus project and leadership awards.
