CERTIFIED LIVING IN PLACE PROFESSIONAL™

Certified Living In Place Professionals (CLIPP™) are responsible for the overall design, management, and construction of projects. Candidates for the program include:

Architects, developers, and builders
Contractors
Kitchen & Bath Designers / Interior Designers
Home inspectors
Lighting specialists
Smart Technology System Desigers / Intergrators
Medical providers (OTs, PTs, physicians, nurses, etc...)
Real estate professionals
Non-profit and government design / construction staff
Anyone who wishes to learn more about helping make clients homes more accessible, healthier, safer, more secure, beautiful, functional, and connected

Format

Experiential Meal Events

CLIPP classes are a combination of live-interactive, and on-demand pre-recorded classes that can be viewed at your convenience. Total of 16 hours of class time. See FAQs for CLIPP course agenda, eligible CEUs and more information.

As a CLIPP graduate, you become part of the Living In Place Institute Global Network of professionals for life. Network benefits, including eManual access and the free listing on the Find A Professional Page are included for one year with your initial registration.

Experiential Meal Events

Attendees have the option to do a self-directed On-Demand Experiential Meal event or to be part of a Live-Virtual Experiential Meal event the third Thursday of every month at 11 A.M. Eastern Time. You must register at least 24 hours prior to the meal, and you must either purchase an Experiential Meal Kit (purchase required at least 2 weeks before the Experiential Meal) or make one yourself and have it ready prior the the meal.

Home & Accessibility Trades Specialists™ (HATS™) are professionals who install products and bring designs to life, and network with CLIPP professionals. You must be an active trade professional in the list below to earn your HATS credential and join the growing Living In Place Institute Network of Professionals. HATS professionals include:

HATS classes are about 5-hours of On-Demand Pre-recorded classes that can be viewed at your convenience. See FAQs for HATS course agenda, money back guarantee and more information.

As a HATS graduate, you become part of the Living In Place Institute Global Network of professionals for life. Network benefits, and the free listing on the Find A Professional Page are included for one year with your initial registration.

HATS Refresher Classes and Annual LIPI Network Benefits

Your Living In Place Institute Network Benefits are valid for a year after completing your class credential. Every year after your original class if you maintain your Network Benefits, you can take a free HATS Refresher class.
